Big Gay Camping Trip
This year we are building on the success of last year’s event and introducing a sexual health zone to deliver opportunistic health awareness. The camp will take place at Stanley Head on the 4th-5th June. We can’t promise sun but we can promise a great time for the LGBT community, their supporters, friends and family!
To cope with the increased demand we have doubled our capacity this year, up to 200 places, demonstrating yet another must-attend event that has firmly established itself on Stoke’s LGBT calendar. THE BIG GAY CAMP TRIP 2011 promises to be bigger and better than ever.
All you need to do is get a ticket, brings a tent, some nibbles and drink and join the fun; we will have music playing all day by premier DJ- DJ Ibbs and DJ Jon to add that mini festival feel. If you came last year you will remember the rounder’s tournament and the eye opening experience that was ‘I have never’.
This year we will have caterers providing BBQ food and marshmallows around the camp fire in the evening so bring some extra pennies to get some grub. We will be bringing back the dance off to the evening celebrations so practice your best moves and let’s see who will take the crown of ‘Big Gay Camp Dance Off Champ 2011’
Everyone attending the camp trip will get a GayLife goodie bag containing a few surprises for everyone to take away with them. All the money raised from the trip will be donated to the LGBT network to help support Stoke Pride 2011 on the 6th of August. It’s a great way to come together with as many people from our diverse community and have a nice relaxed fun filled weekend. This event is open to people over the age of 18 years.
